He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Thomas and Wilma Fay Wilson (Vinall); his wife Diane Sue Junge; his sister Florence; his brother-in-law John Hayes; and his friend Gary Bunn.
He is survived by: his daughter Ashley Meek (Jordan) of Williamsburg; and his grandchildren, Avery and Jacob Meek.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Powell Funeral Homes - Marengo (298 W Washington St, Marengo, IA 52301). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at 1669 Court Ave, Marengo, IA 52301.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Hope Foundation at Compass Memorial Healthcare in Marengo or the Iowa County Fair.
