He was predeceased by: his parents, Trygve Oydgard and Randi Oydgard. He is survived by: his wife Sue; his nieces, Karen Gerbi (Paul) of Malden, Mass. and Virginia Oltman of Frederick; and his brother-in-law Chuck McCabe of Fulton, N. Y..
