He was predeceased by: his parents, John Drtina and Anna Drtina (Kubicek); his wife Theola Drtina (Drake); his children, Debra Hills, Arthur Jr. Drtina and Donald Drtina; and his siblings, Frank Drtina, George Drtina (Katherine), Helen Shimek (Ed), Lillian Shimek (Adolph), Irene Hyberger (Leo), Grace Bagan (Ray) and Marie Copeman (Floyd).
He is survived by: his daughters, Janel Johnson and Linda Carpenter (Paul); his children-in-law, Gladys Drtina, Teresa Drtina and Pat Hills; and his close friend Ruby Stephens. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
