It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bessie Marie (French) Hand (Marion, Iowa), who passed away on August 31, 2019, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George French and Nettie French (Gray); her husband Charles LeRoy Hand; her granddaughter Cindy Chapman; her daughter-in-law Barbara Hand; and her siblings, Lloyd, Virgil, Walter, Sarah, Clyde, Dorathy and Eunice.

She is survived by: her children, Sally Smith (Woody) of Marion and Terry Hand of Pahrump, Nevada. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; twelve great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
