He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Nielson and Doris Nielson (Fagle); his wife Jeannine Freeman; and his brother Norm Nielson. He is survived by: his daughters, Justine Meyerhoff (Jim) of Cedar Rapids and Sandy Stein (Carl) of Odessa, Missouri; his grandchildren, Molly Olson (Craig) of Waukee, Kelsey Graves (Cody) of Central City, Joel Stein (Heather) of St. Clair, Erin Hughes (Paul) of Kansas City and Nathan Stein (Lauren) of Farmington, Missouri; and his sisters-in-law, Dora Nielson of Marion and Vonda Freeman of Brandon, Florida.. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
