With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Brian John Barkdoll of Marion, Iowa, born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on November 26, 2021 at the age of 37. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Delores Gildersleeve and Jerry Barkdoll. He is survived by: his parents, John Barkdoll and Denise Barkdoll (Stainbrook) of Marion; his friends, Craig and Gary; his wife Tasha Barkdoll; his sons, Nash of Marion, Rolyan of Marion and Boston of Marion; his sisters, Katie Fryman (Adam) of Sheboygan, Wisconsin and Kellie Pflughaupt (Spencer) of Sheboygan, Wisconsin; and his grandfathers, Denny Stainbrook (Donna) of Brandon and Max Gildersleeve of Eau Claire, Wisconsin.. He is also survived by brother to his sisters.

“I am so sorry for your loss!! I knew Brian through Economy Auto. One day he had to give me a ride home because he was going to work on my car. When he dropped me off he noticed my elaborate gnome village and said it was so cool! He asked if he could bring his wife and boys by to see it. I said of course, that would be awesome.!
