He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Henry II and Clarice "Tess" Nadine Bammert (Kilts); his brothers, Jerry Bammert and Jerry Kilts; his aunt Donna Kilts; and his mother-in-law Hazel H. Schuettpelz.
He is survived by: his pet Finn; his wife Denise Bammert of Marion; his children, Isabella "Izzy" Bammert of Marion and Andrew Reed (Lourdes) of Cedar Rapids; his cousins, Ray Kilts (Shirley) of Fairfax and Don Kilts Sr. of Cedar Rapids; his father-in-law Erwin Schuettpelz of Marion; his siblings-in-law, Debbie Offerman (Kim) of Delran and David Schuettpelz (Renae) of Cedar Rapids; and his friend Julie Pauly. He is also survived by five grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Chuck's memory may be directed to the family to be designated later.
