It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles H. Bammert III of Marion, Iowa, who passed away on December 4, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Henry II and Clarice "Tess" Nadine Bammert (Kilts); his brothers, Jerry Bammert and Jerry Kilts; his aunt Donna Kilts; and his mother-in-law Hazel H. Schuettpelz.
He is survived by: his pet Finn; his wife Denise Bammert of Marion; his children, Isabella "Izzy" Bammert of Marion and Andrew Reed (Lourdes) of Cedar Rapids; his cousins, Ray Kilts (Shirley) of Fairax and Don Kilts Sr. of Cedar Rapids; his father-in-law Erwin Schuettpelz of Marion; his siblings-in-law, Debbie Offerman (Kim) of Delran and David Schuettpelz (Renae) of Cedar Rapids; and his friend Julie Pauly. He is also survived by five grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service (3855 Katz Dr, Marion, IA 52302). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (915 27th St, Marion, IA 52302).
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Chuck's memory may be directed to the family to be designated later.
