He was predeceased by: his parents, Joan Ipson and John Ipson. He is survived by: his siblings, Ronald Ipson, Linda Tempel, Eric Ipson (Janelle), Wesley Ipson (Doreen) and Ann Ipson. He is also survived by ten nieces and nephews; and seven great-nieces.
Professional memberships included the National Athletic Trainers Association and the American College of Sports Medicine and an instructor for the American Heart Association.
