He is survived by: his wife Rose Marie of Shellsburg; his children, Tammy Hesson of Hiawatha and Shaun M. Hesson of Cedar Rapids; his grandson Shaun E. Hesson; his pet Lexi; his siblings, Kevin Hesson (Deb), Diane Hesson of Vinton, Karen Helms (Steve) of Vinton and Dana Lane (Tom) of Vinton; and his brother-in-law Gary Bonesteel (Kaye) of Shellsburg. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and numerous friends.
