Dave left this world on February 3, 2026 at the age of 77, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Malatek and Gladys Malatek; his siblings, Jeff, Vernon and Carol; his former wife Carol (Meskimen); and his son Troy Malatek.
He is survived by: his daughters, Tracy Everett (Dave) and Tricia Wilson (Jamie); his stepchildren, B. J. Pruitt (Kris) and Tina Pruitt; his grandchildren, Mitchel (Kendra), Trevor, Madison, Macie, Autumn, Billy, Erin, Eric and Rachel; and his siblings, Cathy Petry (Richard), Paul Malatek (Diane) and Jim Malatek (Terry). He is also survived by several great grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
Memorials may be directed to Unity Point Hospice in Dave's name.
