He was predeceased by: his brother Wayne O'Brien; and his parents, Howard O'Brien and Helen O'Brien (Wright). He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Lee Hines of Marion; his son Chris O'Brien (Stephanie) of Springville; and his granddaughters, Elizabeth Timp, Kylie O'Brien and Mackenzie O'Brien.
