He was predeceased by: his parents, Malvin Martensen and Vera Martensen (Westphal); and his brother Vern. He is survived by: his wife Janet Martensen; his daughters, Pam Scott (Lance) of Toddville, Diane Franck (Loren) of Swisher, Laura Martensen and Carol Martensen Luth of Cedar Rapids; and his stepchildren, Kathy McNeal (Randy) of Marion, Jeff Vincent (Kathy) of Cedar Rapids and Paula Sloan (Steve). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
