He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Schons and Charlotte Schons (Decker). He is survived by: his children, Richard Schons, Carla Fishel (Micheal) and Randal Schons (Sherry); his grandchildren, Anna Fishel (Josh Beyer), Micheal Fishel (Sarah), Matthew Fishel (Stephanie), Anthony Schons (Anne), Kevin Schons and Jeffery Schons; his great grandchildren, Nate, Elizabeth, Hazel, Etta, Cora, Madison and Arthur; his stepdaughter Connie Jirouch; and his brothers, Charles and Kerwin Schons. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
