He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne and Helen; and his brother John Sutherland. He is survived by: his wife Linda Sutherland; his children, Kelly Schott of Gladbrook, Colleen Keach (Ronald) of West Warick and Richard Yarnes (Lorenza) of La Crescenta, California; his grandchildren, Dawn, Derek Keach, Rachel Knaack (Zach), Sierra and Samara Yarnes; his great grandchildren, Zayden Keach and Laramie Sue Knaack; his sister-in-law Amy Sutherland of Minnesota; his nephew Jason Sutherland (Tracy); and his niece Dr. Pauline Meyer (Matt).
