She was predeceased by: her sisters, Beverly and Barbara Abel; her parents, Orville Abel and Hildred Abel; and her spouse Orlo Eimen.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Bys (Franklin) of North Liberty, IA and Jerry Eimen (Tami) of Simpsonville, SC; her siblings, Dennis Abel of Cedar Rapids, IA and Debra Booth of Casa Grande, AZ; and her grandchildren, Rachel, Cody Eimen, Allison, Ashley and Ryan Bys.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cedar Memorial Funeral Home (4200 1st Ave NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories.
