With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Diane Marie Svoboda of Marion, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 31, 2026 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph John and Genevieve Elaine Grishaber (Majewski); her husband John Svoboda; and her brothers-in-law, Thomas Jr. Svoboda (Betty) and Steven Svoboda.
She is survived by: her children, Philip Svoboda (Michelle) of Marshalltown, Mark Svoboda (Melanie) of Marion and Ann Svoboda of Marion; her grandsons, Devon Svoboda (Hope), James Svoboda (Isabella), Dylan Svoboda (Klara Johanson) and Jacob Svoboda; and her siblings-in-law, David Svoboda (Delores) of Marion, Shelly Svoboda of Washington and Theresa Alberts (Wayne) of Cedar Rapids. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and grand-fur babies.
Memorials in Diane's memory may be directed to the family to be designated at a later date.
