We are sad to announce that on November 6, 2023, at the age of 89, Donald Thompson of Marion, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sister Donna of Hiawatha, IA; his wife Barbara Kress; his daughter Tammy; and his siblings, Bonnie, Richard, Glen and Kenneth.
He is survived by: his children, Tina Navarro of Cedar Rapids, IA, Doug Thompson (Joyce) of Cedar Rapids, Shelley Hyde (Dan) of Marion and Wendy Rice (Chad) of Marion, IA; his grandchildren, Landis, Carlie, Adam, Amy, Chelsey, Connor, Abby, Dillon, Michael, Nic, Jordyn and Cade; his great grandchildren, Ryker, Harper, Parker, Ella, Addison, Carter, Myles, Liliana, Brennin and Rylee; and his siblings-in-law, Gary, Connie Kress of Colorado and Debby Kress of California. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Memorial contributions will be made in his name to The Eastern Iowa Honor Flight.
