It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna Jayne Wharton of Marion, Iowa, born in Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on January 16, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Zona Thompson (Leffert) and Fred Thompson; her husband Ed; her brothers-in-law, Dave Reed and Thad Miller Jr.; and her close friend John Hlavacek.

She is survived by : her sisters, Joyce Miller and Nancy Reed; her nephews, Tracy and Thad; and also Kerry Lynn.
