She was predeceased by: her husband Dean Washburn; and her parents, Joseph Sponar and Hazel Sponar. She is survived by: her sons, Dennis Washburn (Nancy) of Centerville and Daniel Washburn (Deb) of Marion; her sister Joann Ferguson of Marion; her grandchildren, Andrew Washburn (Stephanie), Leah Washburn, Melissa Roetzel (Michael) and Stephanie Lewis (Jon); and her great grandchildren, Joshua Lewis, Cody Lewis (Lindsey), Scott Roetzel, Gracie Roetzel and Lila Washburn.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity St James United Methodist Church or Mercy Hospice of Hiawatha.
