It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris E. Yahnke of Marion, Iowa, born in Monticello, Iowa, who passed away on April 3, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Brockens and Hannah Brockens (Doden); her husband Gary Yahnke; and her sister Velma Zumbach. She is survived by: her children, Sherri Chalstrom (Gary) of Marion, Kim Yahnke-West (Curtis West) of Hopkins and Bradley Yahnke of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; her grandson Spencer Chalstrom; and her sister Linda Smith (Gary) of Marengo, Iowa. She is also survived by extended family members including grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
