It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Duane John Novotny of Marion, Iowa, born in Clutier, Iowa, who passed away on September 7, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Novotny and Eleanor Novotny (Yuska); his son Dustin Novotny; and his granddaughter Kylie McGee. He is survived by: his wife Fran Novotny; his daughters, Danica Novotny of Marion and Darcie McGee of Eldridge, Iowa; his grandchildren, Kenna, Vivian and Hope McGee; and his siblings, Dennis Novotny (Doris) of Tama, Iowa. and Diane Thiessen (Roger) of Tama, Iowa..
