It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith Mae Moorhead of Marion, Iowa, who passed away on October 10, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Sleichter and Erma Sleichter; her husband Phil; her siblings, Vern, Carroll, Daniel, Richard Sleichter, Norma Fry and Dortha Chapek; and her granddaughter Christine.

She is survived by: her sons, Alan Moorhead (Bonnie) of Gilbert and Steven Moorhead (Karen) of Iowa City, Iowa; and also Dora Kallaus of Kalona, Iowa.. She is also survived by four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

Memorials in her memory may be directed to Marion Methodist Church.
