She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale W. Nelson and Kathleen Eller Nelson; and her husband Steve. She is survived by: her son John (Angela) of Marion; her sister Patricia (Ron) of Oxford, IA; and her grandchildren, Clara, Caleb, Blaise, Cooper of Marion, Richard Nyunt (Clara) and Autumn Heller (Caleb). She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Cranston Family Funeral Home - Fairfield (2805 W Burlington Ave, Fairfield, IA 52556). A rosary was held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:20 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (3100 W Madison Ave, Fairfield, IA 52556). A burial was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
