He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Horwedel and Lucille Horwedel (Lenton); his wife Dee Horwedel; his son Steven L. Horwedel; and his sister Marlene Wray.
He is survived by: his son Mike Horwedel (Susan Rathke); and his pets, Smudge and Jazz. He is also survived by her seven children, who were like his daughter and grandchildren.
