He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Phillips; his son John (Elizabeth) of Clive; his stepson Bill (Krista) of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Ciara (Adrian) and Jory (Layla); his great grandchildren, Theo and Kennedy; and his brother Brett of Cedar Rapids.
