He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Smith and Rena Smith; his wife LaVista Smith; his son Price Jackson; and his siblings, Sarah Hobbs, Bill Smith, Jewell Smith, Betty Clark and Milford Smith.
He is survived by: his daughters, Suzette L. Gadegbeku of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Kortnee Stewart of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; his grandchildren, Stefan Gadegbeku of Sterling, Brie Wolfe of Manassas, Malcolm Jackson of Cedar Rapids, DeChone Jackson of Monticello and Rachelle Jackson of Monticello, Iowa; and also Rosemarie Riggins of Manasas, Virginia.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
