He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Nesteby and Dorothy Nesteby (Gamm); and his brother Robert Nesteby. He is survived by: his wife Judy Nesteby; his children, Tracy Nesteby (Darwin Dede) and Brandon Nesteby (Christie); his grandchildren, Spencer Dede (Morgan Ness), Skylar Recker (Jaden), Taylor Nesteby (Cameron Story) and Brystol Nesteby; his pets, Evie, Flynn, Cali, Paisley, Beasley and Halpert; and his cousin Kay Biederman.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Services (3855 Katz Dr, Marion, IA 52302).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Liver Foundation or a local pet charity of your choice.
