It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Marguerite Ackley of Marion, Iowa, who passed away on December 20, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Etzel and Ruth Etzel (Hagerman); her husband Gerald Raymond Ackley Sr.; her sons, Gerald Raymond Ackley Jr. and Timothy Ackley; her siblings, Hubert Merle Etzel and Beulah Bebee; her sister-in-law Dolores Ackley; her nephew Donald Bebee; and her pet Abby Rose.
She is survived by: her daughter Anna Ackley (Diane Rothrock) of Marion; and her nephew Robert Bebee (Marion).
