He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester "Bud" DeWayne and Mary Louise Dickey (Sigmund); and his wife Lyn. He is survived by: his sons, Kevin (Mia) of Marion and Scott (Beth) of Marion; his grandchildren, Aelwyn, Fiona, Freya and Maren; his sisters, Cheri Dickey of Cedar Rapids and Jane McCoy (Tom) of Marion; and his niece Lisa Koury (Mike) of North Liberty, Iowa..
