It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jerry Nagel of Marion, Iowa, born in Waukon, Iowa, who passed away on June 4, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Verni and Mary Jane Nagel (Ferguson); his wife Cheri; and his brothers, John and Ronald Nagel.

He is survived by: his children, Heather Matheny of Cedar Rapids, Edward Nagel of Marion, Terry Nagel of Marion and Joe Nagel of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Brian Kapurch, Natalie Bullis, Tyler, Cory and Annie Feyss; his great grandchildren, Becka Miranda, Brian Jr. and Layla Kapurch; and his sisters, Nancy Tangen (Mike) of Chicago, IL, Susan Stumbo (Anthony) of New Albin, IA and Lori Nagel of Waukon.
