He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edward and Dorothy Buchanan (Prohaska); and his brothers, Daniel Buchanan and Tom Buchanan. He is survived by: his sister Judy Sun (Shulun); his children, Toby Buchanan and Wendy Buchanan; his grandchildren, Emerson Buchanan, Skylar Hentges and Molly Grace Buchanan; his nieces, Anna Sun, Meimee Sun and Traci Muldoon; his stepdaughters, Shelly Carter and Tracy Edens; and also Mary Buchanan.
