John G. McAreavy Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. McAreavy and Irene McAreavy (Williams). He is survived by: his wife Lola McAreavy of Marion; his children, Jordon McAreavy (Trina) of Cedar Rapids, Bradley McAreavy (Kym) of Rochester, Michael McAreavy (Yi-Jen Kong) of Taiwan, Michele McAreavy of Marion, Andrew McAreavy (Jennifer) of Kansas City, Andrea McAreavy (Shelly) of Phoenix and Stephen McAreavy of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Brent Albaugh, Dylan Paup, Logan McAreavy and Andrew "Drew" McAreavy; and his great grandchildren, Kylee and Kason Czerwiec. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family has respectfully requested that any memorial contributions be made to St. Joseph's Church and the Iowa Department of Veterans Affairs in Iowa City.
