He is survived by: his sisters, Claire Roberts Fernow and Helen "Janette" Roberts Jacobs; his children, Julie Roberts Botteicher (Randy) of Belleville, Pennsylvania, Mark Roberts (Joyce) of Ryan, Iowa and Jana Roberts Veenstra (Kolby) of Chaska; his grandson Randy Roberts of Houston, Texas.; and his spouse Sherrill Gaddis.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home (4200 1st Ave NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Creekside Bible Church (1410 44th St, Marion, IA 52302).
