He is survived by: his wife Virginia Sabers of Worthington; his daughters, Teresa Fleming (Andrew Schurko) of Conway, Mary Fleming (Darrin Rasberry), Ann Harms (Bryan) of Cedar Rapids and Jean Maurer (Josh) of Waukee, Iowa; his grandchildren, Jonas, Alina Schurko, Madison Rhomberg, Bryson Harms, Bennett and Louise Maurer; his siblings, David (Ruth) of Kalona, Iowa and Suzanne Johnson (Roger) of Alexandria, Minnesota; and his in-laws, Ruth Jurgens, Loras Sabers (Jo Ann), David Sabers (Kathy), Lila Geers (Steve), Joe Sabers (Mary Ellen) and Dan Sabers (Debbie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
