He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis F. Hoffman and Amy M. Hoffman (McCutchin); and his brothers, Louis, Glenn and Paul (Mary).
He is survived by: his significant other Steve Hebron; his brother John Hoffman (Karen); and his sisters-in-law, Barbara and Margaret. He is also survived by 11 nephews and nieces and 4 great nephews and nieces.
Memorials may be directed to the Hall-Perrine Cancer Center in Cedar Rapids who provided excellent care for Karl this last year.
