He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Julius Edward and Alice Louise Koch (Rixe); and his wife Maridith Ann Cockman. He is survived by: his children, Geoff of Nashville and Jason (Olya); his grandsons, Jacob, Jonathan and Justin of Clarksburg; his son Joshua of Boulder, Colorado; his sisters, Susan Brown (Jim) of Pekin and Gloria Bengtson (Warren) of Minneapolis, Minnesota; and his niece Jennifer Larson of Minneapolis.
