He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Eugene and Elizabeth "Libby" Edwards (Lyman). He is survived by: his wife Marcia Edwards; his children, Chris Edwards (Lisa) and Molly Hoover (Kurt); his grandchildren, Grace Edwards (Danny Coughlin), Jackson Edwards, Myka Hoover and Eli Hoover; and his sisters, Audrey Cross (Norm) and Janalee Williams (Rick). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection (3500 29th Ave, Marion, IA 52302). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
