It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lester Peter Jurgens of Marion, Iowa, born in Atkins, Iowa, who passed away on January 24, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Jurgens and Irene Jurgens (Gefaller); and his wife Sharon Jurgens. He is survived by: his children, Richard Jurgens and Kristin Iehl (Don); his grandchildren, Richard D., Laura Jurgens, Ashley and David Iehl; and his siblings, Linda Hlas (Larry) and Darrell Jurgens (Carol). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

All guests are respectfully requested to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Pete's memory.
