She was predeceased by : her significant other Terry Canning; her son William Canning; and her parents, George P Barrett and Lenore Barrett (Christensen). She is survived by : her children, Michael Canning (Carrie) of Cedar Rapids, Cathy Canning of Brownsville, Vicky van den Berg (Jon) of Cayucos and Thomas Canning of Hiawatha. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (1790 14th St, Marion, IA 52302).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Linn Haven Inc or St Joseph's Catholic Church in Marion, IA.
