She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Bird and Virginia Bird (Morek); and her sister Donna Mae Bird. She is survived by: her daughter Star Horak (George); her grandsons, Cole, Weston, Hunter and Lucas Horak; her sisters, Carol Guerrero and Mary Drahos (Richard); her nephews, Jeff Bird (Christina) and Chris Drahos (Amee); and her niece Deanna Brewer (David).
