He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy O'Rourke and Marjorie O'Rourke (Lawler); his wife Marlene; and his siblings, Rita Scheu, Betty Biddick, Shirley Lemon and Michael O'Rourke.
He is survived by: his siblings, Della Barnette and Bob Scott (Sandra) of Cedar Rapids. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Old St. Joseph Catholic Church (995 5th Ave, Marion, IA 52302). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
