It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Alan Novotny of Marion, Iowa, who passed away on November 23, 2022, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Novotny and Betty Novotny (Ness); and his brother Mark Novotny. He is survived by: his siblings, Becky Dotson of Marion and Scott Novotny (Cherie Wadden) of Cedar Rapids; and his nieces, Melanie Long (Joe), Jessica Novotny and Nicole Zilinger (Chris).
