Mona Jean Lawlor Morgan Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 7, 2023, at the age of 92, Mona Jean Lawlor Morgan of Marion, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley Lawlor and Alice Lawlor (Sweet); her grandparents, Frank and Leona Sweet; her husband Lowell; her brother Jerry Lawlor; and her stepmother Laura Lawlor.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Morgan (Sheryl) of Marion, Iowa, Mike Morgan (Theresa) of Marion, Iowa and Cheri Morgan Pettibone (Roy) of Marion, Iowa; her grandchildren, Leann Morgan, Travis Pettibone (Kristie), Sarah Scott (Cameron), Dan Morgan (Allison) and Lisa Van Der (Kirby); and her sisters, Sharon Romano and Maureen Friedrich (Reiny). She is also survived by five greatgrandchildren.
Mona's family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorials in Mona's memory may be directed to the Marion Methodist Foundation or the Marion Independent School District Foundation.
