Nancy Domer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Domer of Marion, Iowa, who passed away on December 9, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, E. J. Scott and Marguerite Scott; and her sister Jacqueline Steiner (George). She is survived by: her daughters, Pam Purvis (Jim) and Jill Laping; and her grandchildren, Sarah Laping Garland (Spencer), Lindsay Laping (Logan) and Alyssa Laping. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Faith Presbyterian Church (715 38th St SE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52403). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 at 12:00 PM and at 1:00 PM. After George's passing Nancy joined daughter Jill in Bahrain where they spent the worst Covid months hunkered down in the warm winter until coming back to Iowa in July 2020.
