With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nancy Jane Stoppels of Marion, Iowa, born in Gilman, Iowa, who passed away on March 26, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Wesley and Etna Mae Spencer (Stewart); her husband Paul J. Stoppels; her son-in-law Mike Gregoire; and her siblings, Merle Spencer, Richard Spencer, William "Bill" Spencer and Joanne Spencer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Paula Gregoire of Marion, Debra Meyer (John III), Jayne Burnham of Marion, Susan Borchers of Waukee and Sara Misiewicz (Bill) of Clinton, Iowa; her grandchildren, John IV Meyer (Deidra), Jennifer Volden (Ben), Sara Thornsbrough, Katy Davis (Reggie), Alison Seidl (Matt), Keith Burnham, Kari Marcley (Harry III), Aaron Borchers (Sarah), Lauren Karam (Mitry) and Mark Misiewicz; and her great grandchildren, Skyler Meyer, Hadley Volden, Jack Volden, Baby Boy Volden, Kiley Thornsbrough, Lillian Davis, Desmond Davis, Harry Marcley IV, Hunter Marcley, Hudson Marcley, Houston Marcley, Ellie Borchers, Bennett Borchers, Navah Karam and Myka Karam. She is also survived by extended family members including nieces and nephews.
