He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Nielson and Doris Nielson (Fagle). He is survived by: his wife Dora Nielson of Marion; his children, Laura Novak (Jeff) of Alburnett, Bob Nielson (Terri) of Vermillion, Jeff Nielson (Karla) of St. Charles and Greg Nielson (Natalie) of Sugarland, Texas; and his brother Bill Nielson of Marion. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
