He was predeceased by: his brother-in-law Robert Bensmiller; his nephew Aaron Bensmiller; his cousins, Jay Mathews, Glenice Stainbrook and Eileen Stoos (Zieser); and his pet Timber.
He is survived by: his siblings, Rozalia "Rose", Ruth Bensmiller-Reed (Barry), Paul (Maureen), Wesley, Michael (Lynnette), Mark (Lynne) and Kelly Burnett; his nieces and nephews, Jason (Lisa), Eric (Misty), Nathan (Rose), Ethan (Rachel), Mclane, Pamela Bensmiller (Jeremy), Shameka, Rachel and Sara; his cousins, Bill Mausser and Sheri Rushlo (Gary); his close friend Pat; and his friends, Judy, Shirley, Kathy and Beth. He is also survived by many great nieces and nephews, as well as aunts, uncles, and additional cousins.
