With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard E. Groth Jr. of Marion, Iowa, born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on February 19, 2021 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Sr. Groth and Martha Groth (Coberly). He is survived by: his wife Carol Anne Groth of Marion; his children, Scott Groth (Nicole) of Cedar Rapids and Lisa Switzer (Curt) of Lakeville, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Emily, Chloe, Isaiah, Lucienne and Whittaker; and his siblings, Sandy Koppen of Shellsburg and Donald Groth of Marion. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

All guests are respectfully requested to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.
