We bid farewell to Robert May of Marion, Iowa, born in Pittsfield, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 7, 2025 at the age of 94. Robert touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his wife Connie (Koffron); his parents, Floyd May and Vivian May; and his brothers, Charles and Ron.
He is survived by: his sons, George May (Barb) of Marion, Eric May (Brenda) of Cedar Rapids, Brian May (Sarah) of North Liberty and Carmichael Peters of California; his grandchildren, Rachel, Bekah (Ryan), Hannah (Dan), Leah, Avalon, Bethany, Jameelah, Jessica (Josh), Benjamin (Chelsey), Michael (Rylee), Zach (Emma) and William (Kelsey); his great grandchildren, Jackson, Jacob, Lydia, Madelyn, Brianna, Alexis, Jaydin, Josie, Beau and Hudson; and his sister Rose Marie Millis.
In lieu of flowers and in order to continue their lifetime commitment to helping people, donations can be made to Doctors Without Borders, Cedar Valley Hospice or a Hospice Association in or around Cedar Rapids.
