He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Rhoads and Ruth Rhoads; his wife Donna Lou Coppess; and his grandchildren, McKeon, Wesley Weber and Robert Russell Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Duane Rhoads (Terry) of Fairfax, Iowa, Judy Weber (Fred) of Marion and Trudy Smith (Jack) of Marion. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
